Celebrate Bruce Lee's 75th birthday, with the martial arts master's final film.Buy tickets
On what would have been Bruce Lee's 75th birthday, gather in the picture house for a screening of the martial arts superstar's most famous film.
One of the definitive martial arts films and the first to be produced by Hollywood, Enter the Dragon sees Lee play, well, Lee. A martial arts expert at the Shaolin Temple, Lee is sent to infiltrate the island fortress where renegade monk Han is trafficking drugs and disgracing the Shaolin code. Lee enters under the guise of competing in a kung fu tournament, but his undercover mission is also personal: Han's men were responsible for his sister's death. Cue flying kicks and an unforgettable hall-of-mirrors showdown.
Once the most deluxe cinema in town, it's great to have the Abbeydale Picture House back in occasional action, following the Picture House Revival in July and its Halloween screenings of Nosferatu. Take this opportunity to spend an evening in the Grade II listed stunner – complete with a bar selling beer, wine and popcorn – while celebrating the iconic film star and philosophical fighter.
Doors open 7:30pm, film starts 8:30pm.
