Union St is a co-working space in the middle of Sheffield’s city centre, designed so that freelancers can come together in a creative and supportive environment. In addition to offering yoga, meditation sessions and workshops, Union St also has a daily rotation of pop-up cafes, offering something different and delicious each day, at a completely reasonable price. Whether you’re taking a moment to sit down in their cafe space or grabbing something to take back to your desk, you can treat yourself to something colourful and fulfilling every day, whilst also supporting local food traders.

Daily: Motore CafeForge Bakehouse pastries
Coffee and pastries from one of our top coffee picks, Motore. Pop in between 8am and 4pm to get your caffeine and sugar fix.

Monday: Shuju Kitchen
Shuju Kitchen is a newcomer to Union Street, serving up delicious portions of food in Taiwanese style lunch boxes. Try their sriracha-roasted cauliflower and skip back to your desk knowing that Mondays just got a little bit brighter. You can also avoid the crowds by pre-ordering!

Tuesday: Turning Earth Cafe
The vegan Turning Earth Cafe pops up each Tuesday with colourful soups, sandwiches and salads.

Wednesday: Tonco
Tonco serve up hunger-busting salads and sandwiches packed full of flavour and creativity. Choose from plenty of veggie and vegan offerings alongside robust meaty sandwiches on home-baked sourdough, such as pork belly, pickled red cabbage and braised fennel. The menu rotates, so you’ll be spoiled for choice with something new every time.

Thursday: Pie Eyed
You’ve gotten past the middle of the week – what better way to treat yourself than with a proper pie and mash, peas and gravy from Pie Eyed? Choose from veggie offerings such as cheddar and red onion or hearty pies that will keep you going till the weekend, like beef brisket and chorizo.

UPDATE: Pie Eyed is taking a four-week break, returning on 13 July. In their place will be Hungry Buddha, whose flavourful Nepalese menu has become much loved at their regular spot in the Moor Market.

Friday: Fanfare Project
Vegan and plant-based food from Fanfare Project, including tacos, curries, salad and raw cakes such as sweet potato brownies. Get there early because this healthy eating sells out super fast!
