Sounds of Now is a new series of live performances, inviting you to engage and connect with music in new ways this spring. Discover musicians who are creating and exploring some of the most exciting artistic ideas today.

The series is presented by the folks at Music in the Round. They've been bringing world class chamber music to Sheffield since 1984, and bringing audiences as close as possible to the music through intimate, informal performances.

Sounds of Now starts with an experimental fusion of music, theatre and art. It continues with a performance featuring eclectic instruments (including tuned plant pots!). And it ends with humorous compositions in an art gallery, involving theatre, spoken word, choreography and visuals. See the full programme below.

£5 tickets are available for students, under-35s, and people who've never been to a Music in the Round concert before.
