Chance to Dance: dance at home

Sheffield’s annual free dance festival Chance to Dance was due to return this May, filling a bunch of the city centre's outdoor spots with music and movement. The 2020 event is now postponed, but its organiser Nisha has pulled together the below list of Sheffield dance culture sessions taking place online – helping you to get dancing at home.

Advice from Nisha before you begin any session:
You are responsible for ensuring the space for the session is suitable and safe. This includes ensuring the space is a sufficient size to accommodate you moving freely and the space should also be free from obstacles/dangerous items. You should ensure that you have warmed up before attempting moves or joining on an online session. The teachers accept no liability for any injuries sustained by those participating in the session, nor do they accept any liability for damage to personal property caused during the online dance session. All under 16s must be supervised during the session by an appropriate adult.
