For nearly 20 years, Music in the Gardens has been presenting music against the beautiful backdrop of Sheffield Botanical Gardens. Back for the first time since 2019, the 2022 festival will feature three evening concerts to mark the start of summer.
Take your pick from pop, jazz or classical music. Bring a chair or blanket. Pack a picnic, or pick up something from one of the food and drink stalls. And settle in the evening sunshine to soak up some live music while the gardens are in full bloom.
Friday 1 July: Pop in the Gardens
7–10pm – book now
Sit under a (hopefully) Mr Blue Sky for an evening with the ELO Experience, performing faithful renditions of Jeff Lynn's greatest hits.
Saturday 2 July: Jazz in the Gardens
7–10pm – book now
Join Kat Eaton and support for an evening of smooth jazz and blues.
Sunday 3 July: Classics in the Gardens
5–8pm – book now
With an earlier start time to make the most of the sunshine, Sunday is time for classical music, with the 56-piece Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra supported by Keith Peters' Big Band. Sadly, Keith passed away last year, but his band and his legacy lives on. Followed by fireworks.
