Women March! is an exhibition of protest photography by women, opened at DINA just in time for International Women's Day on 8th March.
The show includes pictures taken by the female activists who were part of the Sheffield Woman Against Pit Closures campaign group in the early 90s, through to more recent protests – including the Women's March, the Feminist Anti-Fascist Assembly (FAF) march against the DFLA, women standing against Yarlswood detention centre, women resisting the occupation in Nabi Saleh, Palestine, and local accounts of Sheffield women supporting striking university staff against pension cuts.
Women March! is on the walls in the DINA Diner, so stick around for one of their delicious veggie/vegan soups, salads and cakes while you're there.
Open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm.
