Winner of BBC Young Jazz Musician 2018, Xhosa Cole and Alex Hitchcock, two rising stars of the tenor sax in the UK, join forces to perform material from the classic Eddie ‘Lockjaw’ Davis/Johnny Griffin hard-bop album Live at Mintons. They'll be supported by a great rhythm section. Expect the kind of hearty, bluesy, full-blowing jazz associated with the contrasting tenor styles of these two fiery tenor greats.
