Kinds of Kindness

An absurdist dark comedy anthology, Kinds of Kindness follows a man who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman whose missing wife has returned but seems a different person; and a woman determined to find someone with a special ability who is destined to become a spiritual leader.

From director Yorgos Lanthimos (The Favourite, The Killing of a Sacred Deer), with recent collaborators from the award-winning Poor Things - Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe and Margaret Qualley - also featuring Jesse Plemons (Civil War, The Power of the Dog) and Hong Chau (The Whale).

Sheffield Adventure Film Festival first landed at the Showroom in March 2006. To mark this 20th anniversary, the team have crafted a weekend retrospective of some of the festival's very best features and shorts.

Sheffield General Cemetery

A hillside spot for both the living and the dead, containing stories of wars, epidemics, floods and more between 1836 and 1978. Today it's rich in history, wildlife and architecture. Look out for upcoming gigs, film screenings and exhibitions.
