The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

Premiering on the Sheffield screen is the largely forgotten story of Martine Rose, who bought and renovated a dilapidated house in Sheffield to transform it into one of the UK’s first trans safe houses. Blending unseen archival material and warm interviews, this short film portrays the determination of one person to create a lifeline for trans people that is equally needed today.
