The Secret Agent

Marcelo, a technology expert, is on the run. An unwitting target in the heart of the dictatorship's political chaos, he must evade mercenary killers in the hope of reuniting with his young son and escaping Brazil.

Set against the unfolding backdrop of political turmoil and the charged atmosphere of life-threatening danger - and the resistant spirit of 1970s Brazil - The Secret Agent is a gripping political thriller with a career-defining performance from Wagner Moura.

Nominated for four awards at this year's Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor.
