The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

Bones and All

Directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Suspiria), Bones and All is a story of first love between Maren (Taylor Russell), a young woman learning how to survive on the margins of society, and Lee (Timothée Chalamet), an intense and disenfranchised drifter. They meet and join together for a thousand-mile odyssey that takes them through the back roads, hidden passages, and trap doors of 1980s America.

As the two lovers come to terms with their own morality, all roads lead back to their terrifying pasts – and will determine whether their love can survive their otherness.

Based on the novel by Camille DeAngelis, Bones and All deftly combines horror with a tender-hearted and wistful story of young love.
