Evil Dead Rise

In the latest entry to the iconic horror franchise – executive produced by original Evil Dead creator Sam Raimi and cult legend Ash himself, Bruce Campbell – a new group of young people uncover the Necronomicon, inadvertently unleashing the mother of all evil.

Moving the action out the classic setting of the woods and into the city, Evil Dead Rise tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

The screening at the Showroom on 14 April is a special preview hosted by Celluloid Screams, including a pre-recorded intro by director Lee Cronin.

Read a retrospective feature on the Evil Dead franchise by Reel Steel.
