The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

A tender and sweeping story about what roots us, Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm, in search of their own American Dream.

The family dynamic changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother (played by recent Oscar-winner Youn Yuh-jung). Minari is an intimate and poignant story, showing the resilience of family amidst the instability and challenges of a new life, and what really makes a home.

The Showroom has teamed up with film distributors to share an exciting selection of titles for you to enjoy from the comfort of your home. You can support them by choosing Showroom Cinema when renting Minari (or any of the other available films) and the cinema will benefit from 50% of the revenue.
