Taxi Driver

Fri. 3 July 2026 — Thu. 9 July 2026

Travis, an ex-marine and Vietnam veteran, works as a taxi driver in New York City.

Spending his nights ferrying passengers through the seedy underbelly of NYC, his already warped world view becomes increasingly unstable, resenting those he considers to be the "filth" of the city.

As he becomes obsessed with societal decay, his desire to clean the city of its corruption puts him at odds with reality, as he begins to plan a misguided vigilante assault on the evils of society.

A career-defining film for both its lead actor and director, Martin Scorsese's 1976 influential masterwork returns to cinemas for its 50th anniversary.
