Float Along music festival returns to Sheffield city centre to do it all again for the fifth year running in September 2026.
A community focused on dance music, making space for grassroots, queer, DIY arts and activities in Sheffield. Bringing people together since 2019 over parties, exhibitions, workshops, community gardening, communal meals and more.
With its high vaulted ceiling, large leaded windows and oak panelling, this Edwardian hall lends itself perfectly to the classical setting. Its concerts range from talented student orchestras to more experimental contemporary compositions.
A dark reimagining of the classic Robin Hood tale. Preview screening presented with Sensoria Festival, featuring an intro and performance from Sheffield composer and musician Jim Ghedi, who wrote the film's original score.
Tucked away upstairs in the craft workshops of Orchard Square, Bear Tree Records was set up by Joe Blanchard – a familiar face to many who have flicked through various Sheffield vinyl racks over the years.
