The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

To mark LGBT+ History Month, Sheffield Libraries have put together a New LGBTQ+ Writing Challenge – a list of 66 recently published books featuring writing by LGBTQ+ authors and about LGBTQ+ lives and stories.

The list is an incredible selection of reads from the likes of Travis Alabanza, Bernardine Evaristo, Tegan and Sara, Carmen Maria Machado, Graham Norton, and many, many more. See how many you've read, or find some new titles or authors to inspire you.

All the titles are available to borrow from Sheffield Libraries, or to buy from their partner bookshop Gay's the Word.
