Three nights of science fun.

Discover the latest science research from University of Sheffield academics when Pint of Science returns this May. They'll each take their research out of the lab and into pubs, bars and creative spaces for a series of more than 40 fascinating talks, demonstrations and live experiments.

The venues for Pint of Science Festival 2026: Sheffield Plate, The Lescar, Neepsend Social Club, 99 Mary Street and the Sheffield Tap.

Talks for this year's event will explore the psychological impacts of video games, what happens when you fall into a black hole, why food like chocolate feels so luxurious in the mouth, the mysteries of the human gut, and lots more.

All tickets are £5.

An exhibition about local TV station Sheffield Cablevision, on air from 1973 to 76. With rare archive footage, photos and objects from its programming of kids shows, sports, politics, music, comedy and more.
