Sheffield Folk Sessions Festival brings pubs around the Kelham Island area to life with a weekend of song.
Expect singing sessions, instrumental sessions and workshops. There's usually also a concert on Sunday afternoon. All events are free with donations collected for the festival's chosen charity.

Franz Von is the highlight of the fringe at Hagglers. A central part of Sheffield’s hip-hop, afro and soundsystem culture, he’s a MOBO endorsed wordsmith who’s been championed by the likes of BBC 6 Music, BBCR1Xtra, Rinse FM and Gilles Peterson.
Located just off The Moor (in what was formerly Plug), Network is one of Sheffield’s newest venues. It's brought to you by the team behind Record Junkee, who say it’s been built "on the creativity, ambition and unity which define the city".
An art space and warehouse venue run by DJ-promoter-producer Liam O'Shea. This "rave zone, techno haven and bass temple" has hosted many famous faces since 2012, becoming one of the north's go-to places to discover the next big thing in dance music.
"Poet of the piano” Pavel Kolesnikov is one of the world’s most exciting young pianists. Lauded for his amazing ability to cast new light on familiar repertoire, he makes his Music in the Round debut with a tour through Chopin's complete Nocturnes.
