Sheffield Folk Sessions Festival

Free – donations welcome

Sheffield Folk Sessions Festival brings pubs around the Kelham Island area to life with a weekend of song.

Expect singing sessions, instrumental sessions and workshops. There's usually also a concert on Sunday afternoon. All events are free with donations collected for the festival's chosen charity.

Portland Works

The premiere of a short film exploring ongoing land access campaigns and the relationship between folk music, instrument making and England’s countryside. With a performance from folk five-piece Sāwol.

Sheffield City Hall

Record Junkee

A music shop and record store near Sheffield’s Moor Market, and also home to a 150 capacity venue and bar. They’re inspired by the inclusive ethos that bred the best acts from the city’s past – from original bassline to post-punk and back again.
