Sheffield Folk Sessions Festival

Free – donations welcome

Sheffield Folk Sessions Festival brings pubs around the Kelham Island area to life with a weekend of song.

Expect singing sessions, instrumental sessions and workshops. There's usually also a concert on Sunday afternoon. All events are free with donations collected for the festival's chosen charity.

Powerful US sax legend and Grammy nominee Greg Abate, former lead alto player with the Ray Charles Orchestra, is accompanied by a first class UK rhythm section led by drummer Andrew Wood. An early gig, followed by the World Cup semi-final.
