Uncover hidden secrets and chilling tales of crime that haunted the streets of our historic city. From notorious thieves to infamous murder cases, you’ll be taken on a captivating journey through the murky shadows of Victorian Sheffield, including hearing the tale of one of the most infamous murderers of them all: master of disguise, Charles Peace.

Injecting humour into even the darkest corners of the past, storyteller Adrian Finney will be combining suspenseful tales with witty anecdotes, giving you a truly unique and entertaining experience. Get ready for a blend of spine-tingling suspense and laughter that is bound to leave you wanting more.

Whether you're a true crime aficionado, a history buff, or just looking for an evening of entertainment that's a little bit different, this True Crime Special is the perfect choice for you.

The venue for the evening is The Dorothy Pax, the beautiful independent venue on Victoria Quays, providing the ideal backdrop for an evening’s entertainment.

Doors open at 7:30pm for a 7:45pm start, and the event is scheduled to last around 2 hours.

Right at the very edge of Meersbrook Park stands the 16th-century Tudor gem that is Bishops' House. It's a small, slightly squint half-timbered building. This is no stately home with servants. This is a home our ancestors might have lived in.
