John Chillout Simpson, a 30 year veteran of the Afro-Caribbean music, dance and radio scene in the Steel City, is putting on a street party on the Cathedral forecourt on the Saturday of Tramlines weekend.

Get in the party spirit with at this free family fun day. With DJs bringing the vibe with dancehall, house and garage, soca, R&B and hip-hop. There'll be an open mic session with selectors TDogg, Scarcha, Vybz, Chillout, General D, Juiceman and Vector and dance crews. Plus Jamaican BBQ and pizzas, face painting and more.
