Set within the beautiful surroundings of Sheffield’s Botanical Gardens, the Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing a specially assembled programme of music for this summer event.
The 56 piece orchestra has a history dating back to 1945. They’ve accompanied a number of internationally acclaimed solo artists over the years and continue to attract players from across Yorkshire, Derbyshire and beyond.
Supporting the Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra will be the Keith Peters’ Big Band. Sadly, Keith passed away last year, but his band will be performing in tribute to his memory.
This event forms part of the Music in the Gardens series which also includes Pop in the Gardens and Jazz in the Gardens.
