Join Jennifer Reid, along with Sheffield Feminist Archive at Juno Books, for a morning spent together exploring folk balladry to mark the autumn equinox.
Guided by the themes of the equinox we will spend the morning drawing our past and present together by writing, rhyming, listening and making.
No musical experience or instruments are necessary, just bring yourselves along!
Please note that the shop is very small, and as such numbers are limited to 10 spaces.
Jennifer Reid is a performer of nineteenth century Lancashire dialect and Victorian broadside ballads, and researches ballads, applying them to modern life.
She has supported Pulp, John Cooper Clarke and is in the second year of touring with Eliza Carthy.
