Join Under the Stars for a screening of three original short films created and performed by a talented cast of performers with learning disabilities and/or autism.
Inspired by folk tales from around the world, these three original short films explore fear, superstition, wisdom and greed through folk horror, movement, shadow puppetry and storytelling.
Enter a village filled with fear, a community caught in superstition, and a world where one trickster’s greed comes at a price. Each film brings a traditional tale to life in a dark and atmospheric new way.
Relaxed screening
This will be a relaxed screening with dimmed lights. You can make noise, move around, or leave and come back if you need to.
Some parts of the films are tense or unsettling and may not be suitable for everyone.
After the films, there will be a short discussion and Q&A about how the films were made.
