Joyful music from Inês Loubet, a Portuguese singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer blending Latin-jazz, Tropicália, and soulful grooves to create a really distinctive sound. She visits us with her trio following the release of her debut album ‘Senga’ in 2024, championed by DJ’s including Chris Philips and Yolanda Brown on Jazz FM, Cerys Matthews, Craig Charles, and Huey Morgan on BBC Radio 6, and Gilles Peterson on Worldwide FM.
Her heartfelt storytelling and Brazilian inspired rhythms sit alongside poetic themes, lush harmonies, and compelling rhythms. Inês has performed headline shows at festivals including the EFG London Jazz Festival, Tropical Pressure Festival, Stroud Jazz Festival, and Brick Lane Jazz Festival, and venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Union Chapel.
