Join artist Enam Gbewonyo for a family friendly workshop hosted online by Site Gallery. Learn the basics of how to weave and create your own original artwork for your home.
This workshop is designed to make space for healing and mindfulness through craft. It'll be a social space, where participants can share stories and reflect on the past year while collectively making. You'll also learn about Gbewonyo’s work and the history of weaving.
Find an old picture frame to make your artwork with, or collect one from Site Gallery in advance. Site will also post out recycled yarn to those who sign up, to use in the workshop.
This workshop is aimed at audiences aged 10 and up, and Site encourage intergenerational collaboration between your household. Auto captions provided.
