Create your very own papercut portrait of your furry friend. You'll be drawing pencil sketches of the pets before cutting the designs out of lots of pieces of coloured paper, magazines, books and painted paper. The results will be fun-filled portraits with bags of personality for you to take home and display or give as a gift!
Where: In Anomaly Arts Collective's upstairs workshop in St Chad's Community Hub, 54-56 Abbey Lane.
What to expect:
- Learn paper cutting techniques from local Illustrator and papercut artist Vicky Scott (Vickysworld)
- Work with pre-prepared painted papers to help make your unique design.
- Small group size: a maximum of 10 people per session.
Materials provided: All necessary art materials are provided but please bring in a photo of your pet to base the design on.
Please note, this session is in the upstairs workshop so there are stairs to climb to access the room.
