As part of their i-NOW season, DINA present a night of queer punk at Sidney and Matilda this February.
i-NOW aims to offset the damage to Sheffield's independent venues and music scene caused by the pandemic. It's all about stimulating collaborations between musicians, grassroots organisations and venues, and inspiring audiences and artists alike.
Founded by feminist activists, Dream Nails mix political rage with queer joy, winning hearts (and funds for abortion charities) wherever they go. The London four-piece has built a rep as one of the most vital bands in the UK. With a steadfast commitment to fighting oppression in all forms, they’re igniting venues all over the UK and Europe including tours with Nova Twins and Anti-Flag.
They're supported by Gum Disease, a queer clown punk band. Expect crunchy guitar riffs, heavy drums and powerful vocals.
Accessibility note: Sidney & Matilda's live room has a flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
This gig will also be streaming for free online.
