Gold Panda caught the attention of the underground back in the late 2000s before he gained wider notoriety through his remixes of tracks by Bloc Party and Little Boots.
He’s been described as a cross between DJ Shadow and Four Tet, known for his mixing and sampling skills and his ability to create atmospheric, other worldly soundscapes.
Described as ‘refreshingly unfashionable’ by Pitchfork, his 2016 album, Good Luck and Do Your Best, received widespread critical acclaim. His new album, The Work, is set to be released on November 11th via City Slang Records.
