Join Calvin from Hidden Sheffield for Conduit and Confinement: A Lodge Moor Explore walking tour.

Tours are led by Calvin Payne, a local history writer who shares fascinating stories of Sheffield's past on the blog Hidden in Open Sight.

An explore of the various historical tales of Lodge Moor and Redmires.

The walk will last around two hours.

You will be exploring the story of the area's importance in the city water supply story, with a near two century old conduit from Redmires to Crookesmoor still to be found. Taking in a visit to the remains of the P.O.W camp used in both wars, which was also the site of early aviation displays and Sheffield's last racecourse. All while taking in the beauty of the area and views of the city!

£10 per adult, payable either on the day or in advance via PayPal. Booking not essential.
