Neighbourhood Voices
A contemporary, secular choir that sings a range of pop, indie and alternative music. They've been known to perform songs including 5 Dollars by Christine and the Queens, Pynk by Janelle Monáe and The Hardest Part by Olivia Dean. In recent years they've performed with Self Esteem at The Leadmill, opened Steve Lamacq's show on BBC World Music Day, and received support from Sheffield Soup.
Shanika
Hopping over the pennines for two performances is one of Manchester's hottest drag queens. Shanika Sunrise dropped her iconic single Sued in 2018 following a stand-up piece about her search for a bone marrow match. Shanika always brings the comedy, choreography and drama to her shows. After a five-year hiatus, Shanika returns this summer.
Kid Blu3e
A hip-hop artist from Sheffield and part of a collective in Doncaster called GSD. Kid Blue likes to highlight an authentic vibe in her music that states even if you have come from a place of difficulty and challenge there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
Tom Juniper
A writer, performance poet and workshop leader based in Sheffield. They've published two collections of poetry and taken two solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe. They will be sharing extracts from their new spoken word show Monstrous, in which monsters from various folk traditions get the opportunity to talk back to humans.
