Since their debut EP release in 2001, The Coral have sold over one million albums in the UK. Their mix of music hall, West Coast psychedelia, merseybeat, folk, jangle pop, garage rock, dub, reggae and more set them apart from their landfill contemporaries of the mid noughties - and their magpie approach to sound continues to this day with the group continuing to explore, experiment and evolve with each release.
Their thirteenth record, 388, was released in May this year. Drawing influence from the sound and spirit of vintage reggae and dub cassette tapes, Mojo Magazine described it as a “Dub-tastic return to their roots”.
