On Saturday 19th September, join Sheffield Transformed for the Visions festival!
We are living through a time of intense political upheaval — in the UK and around the world. With the far right marching in the streets, Reform topping the polls, and imperialism causing incalculable devastation, it can be easy to feel despair at the state of the world. Despite this, grassroots activists in South Yorkshire and across the globe continue to support their communities, fight oppression, and build alternatives to capitalism.
Within this context, the Visions festival is a chance for the left in South Yorkshire to inspire each other, build our movement, and express our collective vision for the future!
We'll discuss a broad range of topics — from AI and the hostile environment through to community organising and parenting. As well as political analysis and strategising, the festival will also include outdoor workshops, a radical history tour, a book swap, and music-making.
Tickets for the daytime festival are on a sliding scale from £0 to £15.
