Sheffield has long been known as a hub for metalworking and independent design, and is now hosting a fair dedicated to the very best in contemporary silversmithing and jewellery making.
Taking place for first time this summer, Goldsmiths North is bringing over 60 independent makers from around the world to Cutlers' Hall, a magnificent building that has been at the centre of the city's metalwork for centuries.
Amongst the exhibitors are several Sheffield-based makers:
Jennie Gill – get to know Jennie in our Meet the Locals interview
Chris Boland – get to know Chris in our Meet the Locals interview
Head down and take home something that you'll treasure for years to come.
Open 10am-5pm daily
It's also the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair on the same weekend at Millennium Gallery. Buy a ticket for either event and you can get into the other for half price.
