Join Key of She for their regular improvised jam session down at Theatre Deli on the first Thursday of the month.
This event is for women and marginalised genders.
Sign up on the night if you'd like to be part of a jam, or simply come and watch. You can bring an instrument if you wish or just use your voice. KOS provide a few instruments (normally a keyboard, drums), sometimes people share instruments, but this is totally down to the people on the night and there is no pressure to do so.
Doors 7:30pm. Music from 8pm.
How does it work?
KOS mentors will create a list as people arrive. They then run a jam with four-to-five people at a time from the list. Jams normally last around five-to-eight minutes. You can change your mind about playing whether you've put your name down or not.
Accessibility:
This event can sometimes be very quiet and sometimes get loud – if you have any sensitivity to noise it might suit you to bring some ear plus.
There are quiet spaces available. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
If you have any access needs that would help you come along to this event, email the KOS team.
Key of She offer financial support for travel to anyone who wishes to attend but would struggle to pay to travel (this may especially apply if you have mobility barriers or are bringing an instrument you might struggle to walk with or bring on the bus).
