Sheffield Hallam University is hosting a guest lecture by acclaimed climate action author Mike Berners-Lee on Wednesday 24 June.
Drawing on his latest book, A Climate of Truth, Mike will explore today's global challenges through what he describes as ‘hopeful concern’ - an honest but forward-looking take on where we are and what we can do.
This event has been made possible through the Good Life Schools Programme, a collaborative initiative between Global Action Plan and local secondary schools, supported in Sheffield by our Sheffield Institute of Education. The programme helps young people explore what it means to live well within the limits of our planet, connecting sustainability values with meaningful action both inside and outside the classroom.
Tickets for this event are being funded through the Good Life Schools Programme and National Lottery funding. Please return tickets if you are not able to make the event to free up spaces for others.
