Celebrating neurodiversity, empowering families, and building inclusive futures
Join Sparkle Sheffield and Amazing Grace Hub for a vibrant and heart-warming community event that shines a light on the beauty of neurodiversity! SEN Living in Colour is a joyful celebration of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and the families, educators, and communities who support them.
This event brings together families, professionals, and local organisations to share resources, stories, and strategies that help every child thrive. Through creative workshops, interactive sessions, and lived-experience storytelling, we’ll explore what it truly means to live, learn, and grow in colour by embracing difference, not hiding it.
What to expect:
-
Information & resource stalls – Connect with local charities, schools, therapists, and support services who get it.
-
Creative zones for children – Sensory-friendly art, music, and play activities designed to bring joy and connection.
-
Wellbeing corner – Relax, reflect, and recharge with mindfulness and self-care activities for parents and carers.
-
Networking & community connections – Meet others walking the same path and build supportive friendships that last.
Why “Living in Colour”?
Because our children see and experience the world differently and that difference is something to celebrate. This event is about shifting the narrative from limitation to possibility. It’s about recognising that every child, in their own way, adds colour, creativity, and brilliance to our shared world.
