The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

The Spirit of Independence Film Festival is a micro-budget film festival celebrating the best in fiercely independent film making from around the world. The 2020 event would have taken place at Sheffield's Abbeydale Picture House but will now be online.

A selection of standout feature-length and short independent films across genres, the online event takes place 15th–19th October.
