Lou Gold & The Alchemists
Lou Gold is a singer-songwriter hailing from London but living in Sheffield, where she is inspired by the city, people, politics, and nearby Peak District. Her first solo project delivers an indie-folk sound with plenty of soul. If you like Frazey Ford, Brittany Howard, Lianne La Havas and Valerie June you will enjoy Gold’s thoughtful lyrics, honeyed tones and vintage soul production. Her songs are love songs to life, inviting the listener to hope.
Lou Gold will be launching her debut single, Eve, accompanied by her friends The Alchemists: Max Munday (bass), Ben Stevenson (keys), Nick Brown (guitar).
Siân Williams
Siân Williams is an artist and writer. She studied at Falmouth College of Arts, Cornwall, and Sheffield Institute of Arts and is now a studio holder at Yorkshire Artspace. Her work is influenced by craft, narrative, embodied experiences, and moments where the personal and social overlap and merge. She will be reading from her book, Knickers And Other Stories, which was published as part of The Editions III; The Preparation of the Novel series in 2016.
Teah Lewis
"Teah is a cut above the rest in the singer-songwriter space today" – Michael Sanford, Pink Wafer. 2022 saw performances at Tramlines Festival, Long Division and Live at Leeds. Teah also supported Richard Hawley at his sold out Leadmill Residency and was featured in Christian Carlisle’s Top 50 songs on BBC Introducing Sheffield for the second year running with EP track Anymore. She has also featured on BBC Introducing and Chill playlists on Amazing radio.
