Join us for a foot-stomping night of roots, blues and americana with Cowbird and legendary folk duo, Bob Hall and Hilary Blythe, to raise funds for CRESST in their conflict resolution education work.
Since 2004, CRESST has delivered conflict resolution training in over 140 schools across Sheffield and beyond, helping children and young people develop the skills to resolve conflict constructively.
For 60 years, Bob Hall has been acknowledged as Britain's premier boogie woogie pianist and an expert on blues piano styles. Still at the top of his game, he continues to tour and entertain new generations with his sparkling technique, carefully crafted lyrics and dry humour. Hilary Blythe, has performed since the 1960s in folk clubs and festivals throughout the UK and taken her music to many corners of the world. Known for the crystal-clear clarity of her voice and neat finger-picked guitar, Hilary adds rock-steady bass guitar and outstanding classic blues.
Born out of the Sheffield sessions scene, Cowbird formed last year and has since won hearts with multiple sell-out shows across the city and beyond. As a five piece they play a mixture of covers and originals and are celebrated for their beautiful harmonies and foot stomping classics!
