This May, Totley Operatic and Dramatic Society (TOADS) will be performing Last Séance written by Herb Hasler and produced by arrangement with Lazy Bee Scripts.
Here we have a dodgy family who are operating a scam séance business. It's all very low tech and you will see during the course of the evening some of the 'tricks of the trade' being played out, not always to plan. Séances draw in clients from all walks of life – those who are sceptical, those who believe, those who come for a laugh and some who just want to know where the treasure was hidden.
As in all good comedies, the best is saved until last and you will learn in the final twists and turns of the play why this one really must be the Last Séance.
Evening performances Wednesday–Friday at 7:30pm. Final performance Saturday matinee at 2:30pm.
Tickets £7 per person, with a concessionary rate of £6 for students and people aged over 65.
